AAA Makes Donation to Survivor Fund

AAA Automotive Vice President Marshall L. Doney (at left) presents Miller Industries Vice President of Marketing Randy Olson a check for the Survivor Fund. Olson is on the board of the International Towing and Recovery Hall of Fame and Museum, which oversees the fund. AAA and Miller Industries are Platinum sponsors of the Survivor Fund. Additionally, AAA employees helped raise $2,478 by purchasing tickets that enabled them to wear jeans to work. The Association will continue its efforts to support Move Over laws and raise motorist awareness of these laws.

The International Towing and Recovery Hall of Fame and Museum is proud to announce the launch of the first towing industry Survivor Fund. The Survivor Fund has been established to help the families of the men and women that have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of service. Our goal is to raise $500,000. On September 9, 2006 in Chattanooga, TN, the Wall of the Fallen memorial was unveiled.

The wall displays individual names to honor and recognize the sacrifice of each man and woman killed in the line of service in the towing and recovery industry.
